I am requesting a reconsideration of the Replacement Rules.
Private servers succeed because the population of players are generally happy. They feel the Admin takes care of them, they keep other griefers in check. People aren't allowed to run around and abuse each other or abuse resource nodes. Admins can adjust the system making thing 3x easier in areas. But another reason people feel happy is that private servers Admin can help balance glitches and bugs. And in return when staff says "Vote for us! Help us build this community" Happy player go and vote and they tell their friends. "Come player here"
This will be the 4th time I have lost a tame to just "disappearing" glitch. When asked for refund I was told no. Because it was a game problem and not a server problem.
I watch the population numbers for this server go down and yet Admin still wants people to vote. I am becoming more and more discouraged to log on when my tames disappear. I'm not talking easy low level tames but big ones. There are players that don't have hours on DnL to tame or craft or complete everything they want to. That's why it's so nice to have little cheats. 3x XP or 3x resource gathering. Many of us only have a little times to come, play enjoy the community. IT already took a blow because of the server split. Or numbers are so low. Hence the effort I was putting in to vote and even bought the game for a friend and told them to come here. They slipped in right be fore it was white listed.
Tame that are lost because of the "glitches" that are not the players fault can be detrimental to the moral of players on our server. Because tames are a large part of this game. A lost tame means lost transportation. Lost gathering mule. (we all know hauling only 300 wood at a time is grueling) A tame can be your life line to traveling to other players.
I am not asking for a refund for all things lost. For level 4 lornhorns or level 19 Vorks. It could be limited to certain level mounts or types. OR maybe each person has 3 tickets they can call in for refunds. As I don't want GM's spending all their time refunding. This is only a proposal of an idea to rethink our current rules. I want our community to succeed.
